When our client, The Hummingbird Bakery, partnered with DreamWorks Animation’s Gabby’s Dollhouse to enchant families and children across the UK with a colourful limited-edition collection of cakes and cupcakes, we eagerly stepped in to orchestrate the magic of their collaboration.

What We Did:

Our journey began by immersing ourselves in the magical world of Gabby’s Dollhouse, understanding its essence, and tailoring a meticulous marketing strategy. With a focus on family-centric engagement, we crafted a London-based campaign for the main collection and extended our reach nationwide for the exclusive Cupcake Decorating Kits.

Leveraging our network of influencers and celebrities, we curated authentic lifestyle content featuring the collection, seamlessly blending it into the fabric of their homes and family moments. This organic approach fostered genuine connections with our target audience.

Harnessing the power of visual storytelling, we employed high-quality imagery captioned by a seasoned photographer to fuel our organic social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter (X). Complemented by a targeted PPC Search Campaign, press releases, and bespoke newsletters, our multi-channel approach ensured maximum visibility and engagement.

To celebrate the launch, we orchestrated exclusive in-store giveaways, teasing eager followers the night before the build anticipation. A highlight was our Instagram competition, offering one lucky follower the chance to win a cupcake decorating kit, a night’s stay in Brighton, and a day of carnival-themed fun at Brighton Pier.

The Results:

Our efforts bore fruit as the collection launch captivated audiences far and wide. Partnering with influencers yielded a staggering reach of 1.81M. Our two-month paid advertising strategy boasted a commendable 2X ROAS, while our organic social media initiatives reached an impressive 76.2k accounts, with 40.8% being non-followers. On Instagram alone, we garnered over 510,436 impressions, amplifying brand visibility and engagement.

The success of our newsletters further underscored our ability to drive conversions and foster brand loyalty. Notably, our Instagram competition reached an astounding 18,945 accounts, showcasing the fervent enthusiasm sparked by The Hummingbird Bakery and Gabby’s Dollhouse collaboration.
