At Strong Social London, we pride ourselves on creating campaigns that resonate with audiences and elevate our clients’ brands. When The Hummingbird Bakery approached us to manage their exciting giveaway with Wild Refill, we knew we had the ingredients for something truly special. We were to blend the irresistible charm of The Hummingbird Bakery with the sustainable luxury of Wild Refill in a way that would captivate their shared audience and, in turn, grow the newsletter database.
Designing a Black Friday Experience to Remember
We worked closely with our client, The Hummingbird Bakery, to design two limited-edition cupcakes inspired by Wild Refill’s new scents: Starry Night and Spiced Orange and Pear. These cupcakes needed to not only look and taste incredible but also evoke the essence of Wild's product line.
On the day of the event, the first 75 customers at each of The Hummingbird Bakery's six locations to sign up to the newsletter were treated to these exclusive cupcakes and Wild’s limited-edition products, available between 1pm and 2pm. The anticipation was carefully nurtured via social media, and it paid off - lines of eager customers formed down the streets, eager to get their hands on this limited offering. The sight of those lines was a powerful reminder of how a well-executed campaign can drive excitement and engagement.
Amplifying the Buzz on Social Media
We launched a collaborative Instagram campaign with The Hummingbird Bakery and Wild Refill’s accounts to build buzz ahead of the big day. The post, which highlighted the partnership and the exclusive cupcakes, reached an impressive 41,845 accounts. The engagement was significant, with 701 likes, 40 comments, and 50 saves, demonstrating that our audience was not only interested but genuinely excited about the giveaway.
